This super grounding hot chocolate is a delicious way to ground yourself in times of overwhelm, anxiety or just a really big day.
The spices all promote gut health, with antibacterial, fungal and antiviral properties.
Enjoy on it's own or with a grain free biscuit!
Ingredients
Serves 1
1 cup Coconut Milk
1 Scoop vanilla collagen protein powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 clove bud
1/2 star anise
2 cardamon pods
2 tsbp Cacao powder
Sprinkle of salt
1 tbsp sweetener: i.e. Raw Honey/ Coconut Nectar/ Maple Syrup
Method:
Add all ingredients to a pot on medium heat.
Stir well to combine
Simmer for 5 minutes
Then pour into a cup.
I like leaving the whole spices in, but if you don't strain them out
